Well.... it isn't often that anything culturally interesting happens in Dalston. OK there is the Vortex Jazz Bar which is pretty well known - the Arcola Theatre - which maybe the best fringe theatre in London and there is the Rio cinema - but Dalston just isn't a cultural destination. Kebabs - yes! the famous Ridley Road Market - yes!! but not culture....
So imagine my surprise when I saw this poster for an art installation and - in spite of the rain - off I went. It was fun - a great idea and far better than being diverted into the Sainsburys arcade and eating mini doughnuts!!!
