Well, the Beltain festivals were an interesting... thing. Although I thought there came up later in the year, closer to Midsummer. (well come to think of it, call it a newsflash why its called MIDsummer - my stupidity). Although I think the Beltain festivals were far more civilised than today's politics, much like the "game" wit the virgin and the deer.
