Apologies for lack of posts - lack of comments etc.
I have been very busy work wise and have also just been to France for a few days - living in a rural idyl where there is no internet and my mobile does not work! Bliss!
It has been an exceptionally long day today - up at 7.30 French time (6.30 am English time) a long drive in the morning - some sightseeing, a lovely lunch and then another long drive followed by a crap flight back - exorbatent charge for luggage (Ryanair naturally) an, expensive, slow train from Stanstead and ...
Well, I hate flying Ryanair, the whole thing is just awful - like being on a pleasure boat with canned music!!! Never mind the fact that the airports they use have no facilities and they treat you like cattle!! Rant rant ! . It is just that sometimes it is a necessary evil and the irony is that on this occasion it was the wrong choice of route in the first place.
Oh la la la !
The tranquility of your destination (rather than the route itself) sounds fantastic - it's a rare feeling for one to be cut off from technology anymore, when you think about it...
