Robert - Claude is going to go into ecstasy - so many chicken and roosters (I assume)... They are very colourful, but so noisy when you want to sleep in.

I'm with tomie - I like them roast too, or as chicken tikka, aloo gobi, sag paneer, a plain naan and a glass lager... hmmmm, I'm feeling hungry

Fantaxtix! lovely! i like the brunette best- the wannabe blonde with the roots around the wings, not...I wasn't sure but now I know that peroxide makes hair (and feathers) fall off! the link doesn't work, here better?

Hiya, Bob! Love your commentary as always. We are still in Singapore but decided to cool our heels after a long walk along Orchard Road and simply crashed at this internet cafe. Miss visiting all your blogs but will compensate for that when we return to beautiful Rojales. Best regards in the meantime.

is it usual for them to have the featherless necks like that? i'm not that familiar with all the varieties of chickens. those are neat chickens. there are some that roam around the amusement park here - they've had chickens there ever since i remember - must take a picture of them one of these days

Why do chickens look so weird? Half bird, half lizard. (Mind you, they say the same about me.) The reason those necks are naked is to facilitate strangling when the fatal moment for the chicken tikka arrives. Claude's revelation of the wannabe blonde's run-in with peroxide is truly amazingly believable, bless her!
