During my stay in Symi I was lucky enough to have an invitation to the Private View of an exhibition by Ian Haycox.
It was also the first night of this delightful new gallery housed in what was once a warehouse close to the sea.
I love these art works - they really do capture the feel of the Aegean. I am just sorry that I could not afford to buy any.
And afterwards I have a lovely meal on the quayside - a great evening!

What a great gallery space! Whenever I travel I always bring back one piece of locally made art, they're the best "souvenirs" to go with the memories!
