bit of history here - in this courtyard are a set of steps leading no-where. They are pirate steps - steps that you used to climb up to pour your boiling olive oil or whatever you do pour on pirates from the top - and whilst your door is securely bolted of course!

A late night the day before but up for an 9am start for a walking tour of the old part of Chorio which dates back to Medieval times. 5 hours we were at it - and it was bloody hot too!
But most interesting and well worth doing.
This is only part one - masses more to come!!
