Looking back to Pedi

past another beach - St Nicholas - also very nice - and with sand too

and here we are in Pedi again.

Symi is slightly unusual in that apart from one small beach right at the far end of the harbour all the other beaches are dotted around the island and are mainly best accessed by taxi-boat.

I decided that for my beach day I would go to Agia Marina which is on the northern side of the entrance to Pedi Bay. It is probably the most 'commercialised' beach on Symi but its setting is delightful, the water is crystal clear and for the non-swimming me it is also safe!

There is also a picturesque chapel on a small island which is very popular as a wedding venue and lots of people swim out to. Not me of course!

I had a lovely day here getting the taxi-boat from Pedi which is great fun.

make me want to go there!

#9 - has someone been making faces on the food? Do I see eyes and a smile on the tomato and is the green thing sticking it's tongue out?
