Yesterday I had a shoot with a child of one year. And Dan, you will be happy because for once I learned a lesson.
Never - ever - ever make nursery pictures at their own home or familiar surroundings. There, they are Lord and Master and "feel at home too good".
It was a frustrating job to get the youngster quiet and still for a single moment. Being good and sweet, no problem for him, but sit still for a single second ... forget it !
When I went back home two hours later I felt also Double Twisted.

Hahaha- everyday we all learn a new lesson of some sort - If we are lucky!!! This really gets your frustration across. I feel all knotted up now. That is a good thought about where is good to photograph young kids!!! danrav · 2012-02-02: 11:48

Ha, euh, ooops, excuseer. Tjah, ik heb dat een jaar of twee reeds ondervonden dat je kids van rond die leeftijd beter niet thuis fotografeert, tis een ramp hé. Zoals je zegt, ze zijn er heer en meester, en doen gewoon hun zin. Al een sjans voor mij dat we dan nog een paar toffe foto's hebben kunnen maken toen de mama hem begon te kietelen en dergelijke. Ma kzat er wel al meer dan een uur te sukkelen omdat die kleine langs geen kanten wou mee werken. Nu ja, tis een goeie les hé, en je zal het zeker niet meer vergeten...... ben ik zeker van :o)) Tjah, en nu deze foto.... middeleeuws gedoe voor een Siamese 2ling??
