Today we woke up with tragic news. A Belgian bus with children from Lommel and Heverlee on board has crashed in a tunnel on the Swiss motorway A9 near Sierre. The death toll: 28 people of which there are 22 children of around twelve years and six adults, including the two bus drivers. The remaining 24 children were injured, some extreme seriously.

What the relatives, friends and family are going through now ... that seems so unreal ... a nightmare without end.
My thoughts are with them.

Such sad news, my hope for healing goes out to all of them. I have never understood why we go to such lengths to protect our children with seat belt laws and yet we put them on school busses where they are not safely fastened in.
