Holding on ... or ... letting go

Shall I leave?
Will I be sad, and go away?
Will I finally find, even life, unimportant,
shrug
and go away?
Will I drop the world (or give it to someone else),
thinking:
That's enough,
and go away?
Will I look for a door,
and if there is no door: Will I make a door,
gently open it
and go away - with small gentle fit?
Or will I stay?
Shall I stay?

Reminds me of my grape vines! Much of the old support has broken and they are climbing way up in my walnut tree!

Wow, the colors in these are so vibrant, Sandra.... The tendrils in #1 really express the image of "holding on" and tightly. Great DOF. And the tendrils in #2 really look relaxed and relieved to have let go. I really, Really like Toon Tellegen's style of writing........

Zoals immer...prachtige foto's, en mooie pakkende tekst!! Een paar jaar terug zei een zeer verstandige vrouw mij.....ondanks wat dan ook..... niet loslaten, en ondanks wat dan ook.... heb ik het ook niet gedaan. Onlangs zei ze nog ... het gras is niet groener aan de andere kant..... heeft ze ook gelijk in ..... Maar als ik eerlijk mag zijn..... gezien ik niet losliet, zou het toch deugd doen om af en toe zo eventjes over dat andere gras te gaan lopen (die deur af en to eventjes open zetten) om tussendoor nog eens even te leven ..... Maar dat is maar mijn gedacht natuurlijk.

Beautiful shot (((Sandra)))). Sounds like it doesn't know whether it wants to hold on or let go. Sometimes deciding is the hardest part.
