Looking the other way. This area is for cut flowers and soft fruit.

Peas are making their way up the supports (but need protection from the wind)
Onion bed in the background.

Sylvan berries grow along the fence. They are like enormous blackberries and so delicious. They are starting to flower.

Giant spinach and Chard (Bright Lights) I put a bit of netting over them to hopefully break the wind.

Slow progress on the allotment, but I am feeling like I am at last getting there. Not a lot is planted out yet - it has been too cold. There is still snow on the hills behind the village, and this site is only one field away from the sea shore, so it gets some bitterly cold strong winds.
There is still lots to be done, but I know it will never be perfect. It's taste of good fruit and vegetables that I am after, not perfection!
I haven't shown some of the other beds - the ones for all the squashes and for the cabbage family, but at the moment there is not much to be seen.
