When I planted my yellow clematis and a passion flower against the trellis, I was hoping that they would happily coexist, twining charmingly around each other, but the passion flower was nowhere to be seen. I thought I had lost it.
Yesterday was the time to cut back the clematis really hard, and there hidden underneath I found this poor, still beautiful passion flower.
Note. Next year I must keep the thug clematis "Bill McKenzie" under control so that gentle Passiflora is able to display its beauty too.
