Oh, I get this all the time: images I've posted that I think are absolutely fantastic fall into oblivion without a comment, whilst tacky snapshots captured without a thought get rave comments. Trust your judgement, not other people's.
What I like about this image: there's something interesting in every part of the image, but it doesn't feel crowded; it's nicely balanced with interesting colours and tones; the green thing is intriguing (what is it?).
What I don't like: well, it is messy and there's nowhere to rest the eye and look around (I think it's possible to like and dislike an image for the same reason); the fact that the green thing is / appears to be at an angle would prompt me to fiddle with it in Photoshop. Mostly, I don't get a single clear message out of it.
I like the fact the sheep are in deep grass - and the heather behind.
I am spending my time trying to imagine the scene without the green railings and the "thing" - it's compelling for me that reason alone.
