A lamb died at birth.
A ewe died whilst giving birth to a live lamb.
The farmer took the skin off the dead lamb and wrapped it round the orphaned lamb so that the bereaved mother thought it was her own lamb. It smelled like hers. Now they are bonded.
A happy outcome to two tragic stories.
