Day To Day Things

2008.07.11
A ship carrying frozen fish to Eastern Europe, from Peterhead in Scotland. How things have changed with time. In the late eighties this harbour was visited regularly by fleets of Eastern European fishing boats and factory ships. Now we send the fish to them. I wonder what has happened to their fleets.

These two small harbour tugs are moving the ship into a position where it can start moving under it's own power safely out through the harbour mouth.

Scottish fishing boats, such as these, catch the fish for the Eastern Europeans now.

It's difficult to tell but there are five fishing boats here.

This has absolutely nothing to do with fishing, or Scotland. It's Swansea, in Wales.I just like it.
