My old cell phone died (4 times) last week. It was the original Rumor from Sprint. I loved it. They "upgraded" me for free to the Rumor 2. I hated it. Some of my students have been on my case for a year to get a Blackberry. "But Sarah, your life will be easier". "Really it does everything!" "It will consolidate so much for you, make you more efficient." I had resisted this with all of my soul for so long. I love my old school technology (I am still the proud owner of the original 20 gig IPOD. You know, the one with the wheel, its big, and has no color).

Welp, I decided I could not take the Rumor2 after a week of having it. My contract was up, and something was to be done. I cracked (no pun intended). I am now the proud owner of my shiny new Blackberry Curve 8530. She is purple and beautiful! And now that I am starting to get the hang of all she has to offer I love her! Only time will tell. I've got my guru of blackberry scheduled in this week. You know the original "You neeeed one" guy. He swears to teach me all of his wisdom about Blackberrys. As of tonight I started to love her more. Until the battery died, this was sad. And the addiction was born...
