On June 1st, 2008, Universal Studios Hollywood suffered a devastating fire in their historic backlot. Started by a spark from a worker using a blow torch, major portions of the lot were devastated. I was lucky enough to get to the lot 4 days later and get some photos, and over the next 2 years I grabbed some photos here and there of the rebuilding process. Today, the lot is fully rebuilt and has been up and running for a few years.
