Professor Mahmood Shaukat, Registar of King Edward Medical University, was my kind and gracious host and guide for a morning tour of the medical school and its facilities on June 17, 2008. I was extremely impressed with the University, its facilities and operations.
My thanks also are sent to Dr. Nazir Khaja, distinguished MD and medical professor at UCLA, and his wife Kausar Sher, for providing me the opportunity to visit the King Edward Medical Universlty. It is a visit I will never forget.
