Sadly, I spent all day today in a meeting, so these are from the archives. This house, called Mill Grove, was the first home in America of John James Audubon (he lived there from 1803 - 1806). It's now a museum housing one of the nation's largest collections of Audubon art (no photos allowed inside, unfortunately). It's also an historic property preserving 175 acres of woodlands and meadows along the Perkiomen Creek, and has 9 miles or so of walking trails. Best of all, it's five minutes from where I work!

Never seen this - I'd like to go there some day. Famous guy for a birder! Nice place to watch, shoot, and paint birds! Not bad spot for a stroll too.
