Ok, here's the source of yesterday's footprint quiz, the marine iguana. They really are black, they really do swim, and they do it to reach algae growing on the rocks along shore. This variety of iguana is found only in the Galapagos Islands.

iguanas, they are fantastic. actually the iguanas are on earth for 9 million years. they're so prehistoric looking with their crowned heads, flat scaly lips and dragon-like spines. great shots storytaylor · 2008-07-09: 14:42
