Would someone explain to me how a squirrel can get seeds from a supposedly squirrel-proof feeder? This little guy is a frequent visitor. |

Some squirrel proof feeders have an adjustable spring. Maybe this squirrel is not heavy enough (yet!) to shut the opening. My squirrels keep a couple of toes on the feeder and not the bar that closes so there's not enough weight to shut it down.
