There aren't actually plants growing out of the roof of the log cabin, the low hanging tree branch just makes it look that way.

Yellow Springs Road covered bridge. This bridge is still in use, it's one lane, and people actually wait patiently for their turn to cross it!

I have no idea why the National Park Service chose to paint Revolutionary War cannon in powder blue and yellow..... ;)
