They head to the nearest aquarium to hang out with a few of their friends, of course!
This little guy is a french grunt, native to the Caribbean. |
Moorish Idol, an Indo-Pacific fish.
An Indo-Pacific species of Angelfish.
This cute little guy is called a ribbon eel. He too is native to Indonesion-Pacific Ocean waters.
Yep, it's Nemo. Or more accurately, this little guy is a common clownfish.
One of my favorite species, this is a gray angelfish, indigenous to the Caribbean. The faint white bars he's showing are evidence that he's not yet full grown.
A Caribbean Reef Lobster in a typical pose.
Best enlarged to see just how bizarre looking these guys are.
A cowfish, also Caribbean.
Loved this guy's expression! He looks like he was quite surprised to see me taking his picture.
No exaggeration or photoshopping, these crazy fish really are iron shaped and flat on the bottom. I find them absolutely fascinating, but I am a fish geek after all! |
Another favorite Caribbean species, this is a four-eye butterflyfish.
An Indo-Pacific species of tang.
Can't recall off the top of my head what these cute little guys are called, and it's late and I'm too lazy to go look it up, but they're indigenous to the Indo-Pacific oceans also.
Another species of clownfish.

Nicely done! We had a wonderful time at the aquarium in Hawaii, I hadn't been to one for years. And you're right about the little guy in 10's expression... cute!

Wonderful coloured fish, and also the lobster in #8. These shots dont look like they've been taken through glass (no reflections etc)
