This fun-loving fellow had a huge tank and large enclosure all to himself at the aquarium. Extremely interested in all the people looking in at him, he would look back - at their level! For kids, he'd get down low, for adults, he'd stick part of his head out of the water to look directly at them. I've never seen a zoo animal as aware of and fascinated by his surroundings as this hippopotamus was!
