This Friday past allowed me the privilege of sharing in the annual all-campus chapel service of Northland Christian School. The spiritual theme for this school year is, 'Stand Up & Be Counted', and the primary initiative behind this theme is the encouragement of Northland's entire student body to pour themselves readily and without reluctance into the lives of those around them.
The initial catalyst for the encounters that we're praying the students experience this year was the distribution of 11,000 Prayer Cards at last week's chapel service. Each and every student has been equipped with a fistful of these cards, which they have been asked to circulate throughout their community; specifically to those folks that serve us each and everyday. The nurse, the waiter, the butcher, the barista, the electrician, and the traffic cop. All of our unsung heroes who live their lives in service to us; these are the targets for a flood of good kindness that looks to break out in our community.
I pray that you yourself are impacted in some way. And I pray that you too, would take part in this blessed burden; encourage others to love and good deeds.

It's wonderful that the school focuses on using failure-mode interpersonal contacts to point everybody to the failure-proof relationship that God has provided for us in Jesus Christ.
