Well, I pray my efforts this morning have not been fruitless; I pray they serve as an encouragement to those people they happen to touch.
"Marketing." Lord, what is that? I would so much rather You handled all of that; whatever "that" may be. It is such a selfish game, and an unreliable one at that. I don;t want to prostitute my art; and yet I feel so pressured to do so.
Please take care of this; please lead the work to me. I am no good with nets; they trip me up.
Jeremiah 4:3
Plow up the hard ground of your hearts! Do not waste your good seed among thorns.
Lord, if my motivation seeks more or less than to simply bless You, then it is wasted.
Help me to focus on what is right in front of me; keep me from chasing the wind.
Jeremiah 4:4
O people of Judah and Jerusalem, surrender your pride and power. Change your hearts before the Lord, or My anger will burn like an unquenchable fire because of all your sins.
Indeed Lord, my
only power seems to be that of magnifying my own stressful defeat.
The world is so contrary to You, and yet I live in it. Be patient with me as I learn patience from You.

must learn how to wait in confident hope; teach me well.

A true Jew is one whose heart is right with God. And true circumcision is not merely obeying the letter of the law; rather, it is a change of heart produced by God's Spirit. And a person with a changed heart seeks praise from God, not from people.
I am a worrisome fool, and I love that You love me in spite of myself.
Jesus, show me who I really am.
