A wheeling flight of birds

Flicker Flacker

Best seen ENLARGED.

Poem by Charles Stirton

Flicker flacker, flicker flacker,
Huge flights of birds wheeling in and out of implicate order.
A minute in, a minute out,
yet neither within nor without.
Just rippling waves of interference
on the surface of explicate order.

Sevendipity The sound of the poem probably originated from a story I used to read to my daughter . It was about a train that crossed the British countryside and it has the words in it: chickity can chickity can.

Poem is not famous. First time it has seen an audience.
