Kingswood School, Bath

One is used to seeing mindless paint and spray graffitti on walls but earlier last century graffitti was a more serious business as one could only carve on trees or stone. Here are some examples from the walls of Kingswood School in Bath.

I rather like their motto:

Do all the good you can;
By all the means you can;
In all the ways you can;
In all the places you can;
At all the times you can;
To all the people you can;
As long as you ever can.
