Nothing but windows from the Czech Republic
Over the last few months I have become fascinated by windows. My interest was sparked many years ago when I visited Holland. There people tend to use plants rather than curtains to cover their windows, so as you walked along a street you could see into peoples houses and their windows were often a reflection of their owner's personality. But there is also the fascination of abandoned windows, dripping with collapse and decay that are so evocative. Of course windows are primarily for letting in air and light while keeping the elements and intruders at bay.
I have some beautiful window pictures from Bath that I will post his coming week. They are very different from these from the Sobotka, Jicin and Prague in the CzechRepublic.

The forest masses
Under gray skies
And mist
Into a solid wall
Of muted gray
Through which cars
Glide skirting noiselessly
The rocky edge.
Through a window
I watch, windows are
For watching -
