Monday nights is Slider night. I always start the morning with a text to my friends to see who is interested in going. Sometimes I'll get a dozen responses and sometimes I'll only get one or two. Regardless of the number of people, we all meet up at Mahaffey's Pub‎ for the Monday night burger special. Seen above are the $1 burgers and 2 of the 3 for $4 beers. I like Mahaffey's because they rotate thier draft selection every 2 weeks so you always get to try something new.

My mouth is watering...Oh for a monkey glands injection. Age and health prevent me consuming such delicious fare! That's a real cholesterol attack! However...the beer's fine! Food does photograph well...I am told that in the U.K. yellow/cream gloss paint replaces custard in Bird's custard adverts as it "looks" far more mouth-watering photogenically!
