These are called "wet" crab cakes because they contain more wet ingredients then filler.

Crab cakes are about as Maryland as you can get. You can't get a good crab cake anywhere outside of Maryland. Other places claim to have "Maryland style" crab cakes, but don't believe them - they pale in comparison.
Maryland Style Crab Cakes ingredients:
2 slices white bread, crusts removed and crumbled
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 teaspoons old bay (the worlds greatest seasoning)
2 teaspoons Parsley Flakes
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 egg
1 pound lump crab meat Directions: Mix everything together and fry in a pan.
