Kebabs and Tikka

It was nice having somebody else cook me some dinner for a change. This is my brother Joel and our friend Rana.

These are her version of kebabs - ground lamb, cumin, parsley, onions, and some sort of middle eastern spice mix.
|
We may have over done it a bit on the amount of food we cooked.
|
All ready for a sit down tasty dinner.
|
Over the weekend I had a friend over for some kebabs on the grill. She kindly informed me that what I was making was actually tikka - who knew? Anyway, we made some traditional Iraqi kebabs and then some american shish kebabs (I'll be damned if I'm going to call them tikka).
