Nina, there are only very subtle differences - but knowing you, I think you would pick the second one. Reason: The background has a much darker tone on the second, which now highlights these stunning white flowers even more!! For me, I'll a dozen of each shot!! The framing is excellent and it compliments these shots!! Superb post!!

Lovely - the differences are subtle, but I think the flowers stand out a little better on the first.

Hello Shamana. Really I prefer your favouritecousin, but flowers can live too. Your "mentor" said that the black in de second (dowstairs version) is much darker, and this is the reason for choose it. I prefer "the upstairs", where the blue is compensate with yellow enough and white is not only a high-light spot. I admire your work. This is my reason. Salut!. Enric
