These are the women who invited me into their house to try on a sari. They enjoy mixing with foreigners, foreign women that is, and the woman in the yellow dress showed me photographs of another woman she had made friends with on a previous trip. It is, no doubt, because of this mysterious other woman that they were now so friendly toward me.
But all of it can be sheeted home to the location of their houses which is on the way to the temple. These people did not ask me for money. They did not ask me for anything more than to send them copies of some photographs I took of them. For an address, I have got "near the police station" so I wonder whether the pictures I sent will arrive.
