There was something hopping about in the water. I saw it. It was a two-legged fish. I think its named in one of the signs. I hope i didn't delete the photo I tried to take of it.

I heavily cropped this from the image below so you can see the creature. Look for the little blue frog-like creature on the branch in the water in the centre. Annotated.

This is one of my favourite boardwalks. Its less than a kilometre from the airport. If you ever come to Cairns, its worth stopping off here for a visit. There are no other mangrove forests around here that you can visit so easily. I didn't even get bitten by mossies this afternoon. Perhaps they would have come out later but I was there at about 5pm.
