Destination: Bell Gorge campsite to a creek 32km after imintji
Distance: 48km

Water - SAddle creek is right after imintji but then I found another place to camp further along despite them not telling me about it. As I write this in July I can’t remember this place at all, perhaps when I see the pics. Or it might be the place with the boab. Yes I think so and I liked this campsite.


Imintiji shop was very expensive. I bought 3 bags of spaghetti for $3.20 each of my zafarelli brand so that’s more than double the price at home. I also bought a packet of chicken soups.

Petrol here is $2.00 litre

Very nice people servicing imintji but not much choice in the shop. Powdered milk $14 Plus so I didn’t buy any. The little shops out here stock for the local aboriginal communities rather than for the passing tourists - of whom there are many. So everything is very expensive. I wish now I’d made a bit of a list of what you can buy in this shop. Or maybe better, what you can’t buy.
