How long did it take to cook the tomatoes?
sorry I missed your comment - nice to see you visit. I had the tomatoes in the solar oven for two days till they were done. I just closed the lid over night and the heat remained till morning though it is not cooking but drying that you need. I will do a proper dryer one day. this works well till then.

You should try putting the subject not in the centre sometimes. It makes for a less dynamic picture for the subject to be always centre stage. Have you heard of the rule of thirds?
I use a third grid when I'm cropping but I prefer my subject in the centre.

Unfortunately we were always really short of fresh water - mostly this was along the coast of Spain and Portugal, where fresh water is a precious commodity. Very few taps or streams or ponds around that were free for use, and there's a limit to how much fresh water you can carry with bikes & stuff... and washing in salt water just doesn't really feel like washing. |
