The Moharram is an iranian traditional cermony . In this annually program from 14 century ago , people mourn in mosques and passages for Imam Hosein ( The grandchild of Prophet Mohammad ) that was killed by Umayyad army in battle of Karbalā (Iraq) in 680 AD .
Although it seems a bit strange but it's better to know you this cermony is to protest violence against humans and to support the oppressed against dictators !
This is symbol of freedom and religiosity together !

This year the Moharram is green in Iran ...
