Birding is my main interest although I enjoy many aspects of natural history. My camera is not good for taking bird pictures so I focus on plants or other slices of the outdoors.

The random anywhere chunks are so bizarre. I like the way you got a nice background to this one.
I was experimenting with different textures in overlay. I liked the way this turned out but I agree it's not so "realistic" anymore :-)

Any Piping Plovers?! The shadows and shapes of #1 have an artistic appeal.
I did not see any plovers on this trip -- maybe in May!

Here we call them House Sparrows ... perhaps these are Duome Sparrows?
