Have you ever been in a helicopter? You would LOVE it.... it's about as close to being a bird as we're ever likely to get. The second shot is my favorite.

Have you flown in a sailplane ( glider)? It's an incredible experience—silent—soaring. Beautiful photos.

I agree .. and I have felt the same ..just want to fly away .. in actual real life I would not ,.. I am afraid of heights.. but that feeling of freedom I get from watching birds I identify with ..:) lovely and poetic shots Sheri!!!very cool!!!

Your photos of wildlife, like these birds, always soar! And you alway catch birds in flight so beautifully. #1 is marvellous with the reflection.

I have had that same facination, and when I was younger I tried to fly like a bird, in the form of hang-gliding.......But you sure can't take off and land like birds can Hahaha............Nice in-flight shots, real cool set!!

When I was a little child, I had the same dream as you did. Wow~~~really awesome bird fly shots, and it's very hard for me to take birds fly shots, 'cause they are moving too fast. Well done :D

Love #2 & #3... i would if i could but i can't so i won't, so they say. The closet i ever get to flying was in Bali, when the whole family went parasailing. It's a totally different feeling from being in an aeroplane.
