Yep there are Ducks on the shore line.

Yep this was shot in late summer... I am trying to bring on a warming trend. I know Lindy wants snow,but I am so ready to be warm again!!!

Believe it our not most of my Bird shots come from the city.
Out in the country we don't have the Egrets,Herons and various ducks or water birds. I have to walk the high line canal that makes its way around and through the city. It's a water way that is for farmers and other large land owners. The only birds out in the sticks where I live are the birds of prey, Hawks,Eagles and Kestrel Falcons.
Then the smaller birds are Juncos,Finches,Pine siskins,Stellars Jay and Robins all live at SheriJ's house. Along with the four legged critters. ;)

Nice view. I'm so excited - this beutiful winter around. Last days are sunny, freezing but so wonderful! Summer is far from me. Good way to warm up and dream for the next :-)

Nice picture. Makes me want to be sitting on my blow up raft, lazily drifting soaking up the sun. Probably nobody does this in a water canal in the city, but I can pretend! : ) Thanks for sharing.
