Why it is a stocky burrowing rodent, as the Woodchuck.. I think they are cool and fun to watch and follow. They live in the Mountains we were at 8,500 feet elevation when we came upon this guy. He looks pretty healthy. :)

We became acquainted with the little critters in Montana....they are cute (great photo with the flowers) but they drove our dog crazy wanting to chase them..she did chase them (drove me crazy) but they always ducked into their den in the rocks quickly.. :-) NellyBly · 2009-01-27: 20:52
