9 years ago today Ken proposed to me at the top of Mt. Elbert. Mount Elbert is the highest peak in the Rocky Mountains of North America, at 14,440 feet (4,401 m), the highest of the fourteeners in Colorado. At first we used to joke and say I said yes due to the altitude? But 9 yrs. later I am certain it's not the altitude that made me say yes. Ken has taught me so many things about photography, birds, wildlife,camping, hiking and repairs around the house. And now he is teaching me to be a good rider on our quads ( 4 wheelers). This bike is a early anniversary present which is in September. I have been riding my bike to work 34 miles a day. I have been complaining about my old bike saying it just doesn't roll I feel like I am dragging a plow. So last night I got a new model. My old bike was a 1996 mtn. bike it weighed a ton??
