YAY! Siremar finally acknowledges the very confused and lost-looking Medmar passengers who got assigned to their boat. It only took 2 hours, which is really not bad, I hear. (Screenshot from a video; sorry for the low quality.)

I had a ticket on Medmar, who canceled their ferry and assigned everyone to a Siremar boat. The day before, the regular Siremar boat crashed into a dock at one of the other islands. Siremar ended up using a smaller boat for the run, upsetting many customers who had paid for cabins and would now be forced to sit with the rest of us plebes. Despite all the issues, however, and thanks to help from Marta, I managed to make it on board a Siremar ferry to Stromboli. Whew!
