A caper bush in Gusti's yard. Nearly impossible to cultivate, even the "wild" ones on the slope of the volcano belong to someone.

Sunset. I was actually hurrying up the hill to get to the observatory before sunset. Didn't quite make it, but it was still gorgeous. Of course.

Who needs to watch "Under the Tuscan Sun?" These photos are much better! Susan and I are planning a trip next year to Italy so these photos are really inspiring!
