Tried to grab a few quick shots of the ferry going the other way, but only this one sort of turned out. I don't know what the white globe is, since the moon isn't full. I'm going with UFO.

Me and Chris. I had to scoot over to block the light behind us, per Tom the expert photographer. "No-- hold the button half-- No, that button. No, THAT BUTTON. Yeah. Now press it down half way to focus it, then all the way for the picture." "What a noob!"

Seen in the head on the Cathlamet on the way back to Whidbey. I sent a link to some of my European pals so they know they'll be safe if they come to visit.
