More Paris pics from Saturday. We started with Notre Dame, rode the hop-on-hop-off bus to near the Eiffel Tower, had lunch, caught a 1 hour boat tour on the Seine, took the Metro back to the hotel to refresh, then hopped back on the Metro to go meet David for dinner at his flat.
I met David last summer at a Couchsurfing.com meeting in Palermo. He's such a sweetie! He picked us up at the Metro stop, drove us to his apartment, fed us a dinner of cous cous cooked by his adorable girlfriend, Fatimata, watched the Foux Da Fa Fa video (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=X5hrUGFhsXo) with good humor, watched a French pop music awards show with us, then drove us all the way back to our hotel. Wow!
