A Boat Trip Around The Island of Zakynthos

Time for a snapshot before boarding our boat for what was supposed to take us on a six hour sail around the island of Zakynthos. It turned out to be nine hours !!!

The Keri Caves.
|
Small boats can go right inside the Keri Caves. The water in these caves is an amazing mix of blue and green colours.

Our boat was far too large to go inside the caves so instead there was the iption to take a smaller boat (for a fee) inside.

When we finally got a chance to swim, it was like being in the last scenes of the film 'Titanic'. (Annotated.)

But I finally found some space to myself.

Did I ever tell you that I have an invisible chair that I can float on ?

This truly is how blue the sea is around Zakynthos.

The view from our underwater viewing stage. We were hoping to spot some turtles but all we got to see was the fat belly of the guy on the opposite side.

Further round the island and now we were at The Blue Caves.
|
Finally our nine hour journey is almost over. For the rest of the day Pam and I suffered from motion sickness where we felt as if we were still bobbing up and down on the waves.
