My hometown of St.Helens is trying to capitalise on the summer by bringing all the fun of the seaside to the main square. They've brought in tonnes of sand, deckchairs, and even a palm tree, to try to recreate a happy, seaside beach atmosphere.

The only thing actually lacking today was ....... sunshine.
