Day 329: Turtle Turtle!

I couldn't get a really great picture of him, because he kept trying to bury his head in the water/rocks. Dad-in-law found the TINIEST baby turtle the other day and put him in this makeshift home until I got home from work so I could see him b/c he knows how much I love animals/creatures... I have never seen one so tiny. He also had the coolest markings on his belly. He was sooooo cute I wanted to keep him. We saved him and set him free in the big soggy back yard next to a huge puddle (more like a pond to him) Live long and well Turklin the Turtle!

Great story!! I brought one home about this size several years ago and our cat freaked out! He hid under the bed until I took the turtle out! Scardy Cat, indeed!

Awwww, I love turtles! I grew up with pet turtels. I hope he does well in his little turtle life :)
