Today I had the pleasure of chaperoning a field trip for Skye's 3rd grade class. (Man...those kids can give some people a run for their money...I don't know HOW IN THE WORLD teachers do it everyday!! Hats off to them!) Anyways...off to Balboa Park and the Science center we went!! We had a great day filled with many activities and excitement! We were both exhausted on the bus ride home...but I wasn't to tired to take advantage of capturing some of Skye's quiet moments :-) And yes...I totally have to cheat on the "photo" of the day (not plural)....because this was my first visit to Balboa Park in which the large botanical garden pond was not busy with people or wind blown etc...and I was finally able to snap this gorgeous shot! I guess 2 photos a day is better than no photos!!
