I love collecting seashells at the beach (even in the winter), so I am lucky to live near the ocean on the seacoast of northern Massachusetts. I take shells home and photograph them - Their curving shapes plus subtle colors and patterns are great subjects for semi-abstract studies and close-ups, especially in natural light.
